This sweet older clerk in my office baked brownies from scratch and brought them in for everyone. My boss looked at them and said,"Why did you have to put chopped nuts all over the top of them? Now I have to pick all these little nuts off!" She said,"Well, everyone else likes them." He said,"WELL, GET THEM OFF MY DESK!" It was SO RUDE because she is SO NICE. What a total jerk!

These bosses are losing all pretense of professionalism and courtesy, because they figure they can. They are on major power trips, and it is all going to their heads. Why not? They can advertise an available job, and get 100 desperate and eager applicants all willing to put up with just about anything. This is the hidden down-side of a tight job market.

I agree with the last commenter. I also believe that many bosses think that can they can treat employees inappropriately. For instance I has this woman this is the super to stand over me one day and very recenly to watch me work. Others saw her and they couldn't believe her behavior. I am not sue what the woman's issues are but she is losing it. What made it so bad was the fact that she asked me what was I doing?? I told her that I was getting information for my particular groip that I work with. I told het that 4 times. I finally told her to look on my desk to find out. When I approahed her after the incident she played it off as though it were nothing.
