Watched a show on public T.V. called Frontline it was about a company originating in Arkansas that has marts and clubs and how they purchase items for their store's from sellers. They out and out tell companies we are only going to pay you just so much and for you [the companies]move your companies manufacturing to China to make the product cheaper. Case in point, Rubbermaid went to renew their contract and had proposed an increase on account of energy and oil cost. They countered no "we are going to pay you less than last years contract. They eventually went bankrupt and GUESS WHERE most of their injection mold machines went to, "CHINA" during auctioning off of equipment to settle up with creditors.

Let's hear it for WALLL-MART. Great company, low priced, crappy merchandise. Reminds me of a flea market on steroids. Let's let every other nation manufacture the products we buy and put half the manufacturing companies here out of work. Way to go Sammy-boy.

Remember when that was a huge deal back in the 80's. You don't see much of that anymore!

Didn't that same company used to have a slogan called "Buy American" and they only dealt with American distributors? These days, that doesn't mean much, Toyota's (and others) are built in the US and KIA is opening a plant in Georgia..
