Generalized rules for office pranks

One of the commenter on my last story "Now Hear This ..." wanted some real office warfare kind of pranks. Let me tell you this - YOU DON'T WANT TO EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

While the thought of revenge is uppermost in your mind, you MUST temper your response with the realization that you have to LIVE with these people. You will spend more time with them than you will with your family or friends. You don't want to do something that will result in something more drastic being done to you! If you do, however choose that type of prank, you must NEVER and I mean NEVER tell ANYONE. Not your wife, your kids, a "trusted" co-worker, NO ONE! Keep in mind that in all work places, "The walls have ears." You can only laugh inwardly and maybe post your prank here after you have left the job and no one recognizes what happened.

My rules for pranks that can be performed without really getting in trouble are as follows:

1. No one gets hurt. Either emotionally or physically. It just has to be funny.

2. No property gets damaged.

3. This is the most difficult rule -- Always fess up! After you've had your laughs, confess.

You got to have fun, but remember you don't want things to come back and bite you!

Chaz
