Drive with your left foot

I broke my right ankle. Since I worked for a VP, I called him at home on Saturday right after I got home from the emergency room. The doctor told me no driving for 4 to 6 weeks (no work!). My boss told me to drive with my left foot. I was entitled to FMLA. He also made me come in after a car accident. This ruined my chances of getting proper care. I am still in pain five years later because my back was injured.
When I went in to work with my broken ankle, everyone asked what I was doing there. When I replied, "I was told to drive with my left foot," every knew what a rat my boss was. He gave me a bad evaluation after that, although my work was fine. He also complained if I wore comfortable shoes (insted of heels) with my ankle brace.
What made him look even worse is that someone fell and broke her WRIST at our corporate office and was given 8 weeks off.

If you can prove he really said this, I'd sue both him and the firm. You may have lifelong medical problems over this. Regardless, talk to a lawyer. Good luck
