i work for food city in the knoxville area, since being taken over i was a bi-lo employee. one of the first things i was told was that we were NOT allowed to talk to management and higher ups. WHY? are they not people too? i could not believe that i was not allowed to say hello to a boos because i was just a lowly employee. i must have missed the memo that lowly employess were no longer human beings. i can not understand why a business would not want to communicate with their employees who work to sell the goods and services that make the company money. and where most ideas come from that make their business work better and run smoother.
