Run...run...run....I need this five minutes ago, that's still not right... You can't leave until this is done. What do these [hrases have in common? Gestapo tactics... I've watched for over a week now as people on my floor (actually basement if you want to get technical) have run around chasing down people for a signature or a sign off or a date or some other tedious thing and I think to myself is that what we've become? All the meetings, all the conference calls. All the meetings about the conference calls. Is this the age that we now live in? Where some uppity-up says jump and we're supposed to say how high? The more I think about it the more I wonder what happened to society. Have people really forgotten where they came from? Two hundred years ago, the biggest concern was wondering when it would rain. To me, one of the primary duties of an uppity-up would be to always remember where they came from.
A big problem to me is that cutthroatness is rewarded while hard work is overlooked. I mean I know I've said it before but the needs of one person or a few people should never outweigh the greater good of society.
Personally, I don't subscribe to this way of thinking and believe it to be one of the chief reasons, this world is in the position that it is...why is that you ask? That'll be the topic of my next post...till then I am...
