I tell my boss what is going on by saying this is what this person is doing and basically she is getting away with all this and she replies well she is not the only one
who is getting away with stuff. Then she proceeds by giving me extra dirty work to do. So I decided if she
wants the place to run like that I will not bother to tell her what is going on. Why does she care what other departments do and why does she get mad at me for letting her know? Any answers on this. Thanks

Sister, Just remember Chapter 23, Verse 26 of the Holy Gospel of JobSchmob: "Speak not of the wrong doings of the incompetent, maladjusted, ignorant, mentally depraved, lazy or just plain stupid co-workers in you work with...just wee-wee in their coffee cup when they are at lunch."

PotPie, it sounds like you are a tattletale! Your boss is giving you more to do because maybe she thinks you have too much time! You want to look good? SHIELD your boss from the gossip and PROTECT her employees from her and you will be golden to everyone!

Nobody likes a snitch. The boss obviously thinks you have too much time on your hands that you are able to know what OTHER PEOPLE are doing in OTHER DEPARTMENTS. Do your job. That's what they're paying you for. The KGB is taking applications.....
