The Evil Leprechaun

I have worked for the Boss from Hell these past three years. He is a narcisstic, egomanical, pathological liar. Whatever you have done, he has done it better, cheaper and bigger. He claims to be independently wealthy, yet constantly pads his hours, (must be the source of his wealth). He redecorated his kitchen and used the company accounts to buy the material. He claims to be receiving royalties from several patents, but cannot produce these same patents for verification. He accepts the praise for all work we do as being solely due to him and never fails to blame his assistant or the rest of us if something shoulod go wrong. His assistant is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and has admitted that he is seeking alternate employment. We shudder when we think how things will be when he is gone. Our little leprechaun constantly berates his asst behind his back and to the rest of us. Our boss has only a passing aquaintance with normal personal hygiene and on warm summer days we can smell him before we see him. He also claims that his wife bathes him every morning (must be in pig urine!). I am not going to begin to describe how he inormed us of that particular iidbit of his domestic life.

Anyway, after three years I've had enough. The only good thing I can say about the malevolent little dweeb is that he will soon be out of my hair.

I used to work under a guy who is not too far of a cry from your evil leprechaun. He dumped his work on me, and of course told me that everything I did was never good enough (except once, but only once), and constantly criticized me. He was the "safety Champion" of our company, and would do power point presentations on the monthly safety guidelines for the food service department of our company. After a while, he dumped that on me too, saying that I was his safety 'sidekick', but never showed up to the safety meetings I had to present for. He even once admitted that he was slacking on helping me maintain our working space and that he didn't help clean up enough (which was in both of our job descriptions), but never did anything about it. I really started to hate the jerk, and eventually stopped caring. I was burnt out just trying to keep up with his work and my own. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore!
