How about this for a first week on the job! I get called into the Bosses office to hear that I'll be doing work for two people. I soon learn that both people are getting older and are very lazy! The boss says he wants me to learn one of the higher ladies job and do it so that she can sit back and eat BON BONS! Yep, you heard it and it didn't go over very well, two jobs for the price of one! Since that time, my job has been cut into two positons and I'm now being supervised by the other lady and she's constantly saying how busy she is and trying to pass her work on to me by buttering up the boss. The not-so-funny part of the situation is that she is constantly visiting and playing on the computer and talking to friends on the phone. It gets better! Every time the boss approaches her to do a project, she declines and refuses and he has to get me to do the job because he is spinless. Do you know that I just heard the other day that he gave her a 10% raise to shut her up! This seems to be the reward for people in my position that work for a living - they give the workers all the duties and the slackers the reward!

It never ceases to amaze me how the lazy and worthless get all the praise. I see this happen all to often! You said it perfectly, they give the workers all the duties and the slackers the reward!
