So I'm sitting in the server room doing some server maintenance when the door to the room opens with a bang.
"Hey! Watch Me make the phone ring!" my less than stable co-worker yells. He walks to the wiring patch panel and quickly disconnects and connects a line and then storms off to the break room.
Sure enough, the phone rings. It's the rather difficult-to-get-along with person my co-worker was just helping.
User: My network connection just died! And [co-workers name] was just here.
Me: Really? I'll do a line trace, did you hear him tell you to reboot? Sometimes that will happen after applying patchs and you don't reboot.
User: Uhhhh, no I didn't hear him say that.
Me: Well I'll tell [co-workers name] to be more careful in the future.
