I posted a message last month about my experiences at my new job and my boss titled, My Boss is a Weiner. It was in a fit of anger that I posted that message.
Heck, I was so angry I didn't even proof my post!
Spelling schmelling!
I now report to you a correction... My Boss is not a wiener.
He is GOD.
I overheard him explaining to a coworker how he was hired on here.
At the time, he was working for a large telco company. While on the clock there, he moonlighted here.
Finally, the owner asked him to send him in his resume so he could hire him.
He writes GOD on a piece of paper and faxes it in. For he is GOD, and GOD is he.
It explains everything. Listening to him recount this story, and the absolute glee in his voice made me cringe.
Somebody tell me why I am still working here!!! Low pay, bad evil boss, treated like crap, low pay. Ughhh. I took a giant %60 cut to come here and am stuck somewhere between Level 1, and Level 2 of Dante's hell!

Who DOES stuff like that? What a jerk! This really solidifies it...you should get a new job. But as an aside, this makes a great story to tell at parties...about the man who, in all seriousness, faxed in his "resume" that just said "God"....LOL

I got to admit, it is funny if I was not in the middle. This guy is a Director!!! Read the Weiner post to see what a class act he is. He really belives his hype.

This is so funny. And man how true. How many of our bosses at the very least THINK they're God. I almost give this guy props for saying what he really thinks...NOT!

Doctor up a resume REAL good in his name and send it to a headhunter to see if you can get rid of him...

Who in the world would hire someone whose resume simply said "God"?

Asking yourself why you are still there is the first step to solving your problem. Don't be afraid to find another job. People hate the unknown, often preferring their own little "known" hell, to moving out into the unknown. You have to work for many years in a lifetime. Don't spend them in a job you hate. I did that for many years, handcuffed by the extra vacation time I was getting for long service, and afraid to peek outside. Now I know better. There are better jobs out there. You can find one, if you try.
