Bait and Switch

My husband's boss is one for the books--my husband was hired for a location 1,000 miles away from where we now are--he had turned down 3 jobs in our current location because WE DIDN'T WANT TO LIVE HERE. Six months after he started with the company in the location we wanted to live in, we were transferred here. Our daughter was all set to go to college in the preferred location and had turned down scholarships to go there but because of the late transfer, she didn't qualify for instate tuition anywhere in the country. I got a job and every penny I made and then some went for the out of state tuition. (We STILL haven't lived here long enough for instate and she doesn't want to live here either.) Anyway, to make a long story short, he found another job and resigned. He was offered more and more money as well as a transfer to a third location. So he stayed (BIG MISTAKE!) I quit my job and began looking for one where we were to be moved. No move is happening. So, now we are stuck with me being unemployed, out of state tuition for the kid, a lease (we are NOT buying a house here!) and the man didn't even have the balls to tell him he was not coming thorugh with the money or transfer himself. He just made sure that my husband overheard his comments that absolutely no personnel changes in any location were being made for a minimum of 6 months. And he feels that my husband's dissatisfaction with this state of affairs is TOTALLY unjustified. We won't even go into his incompetence....due to procrastination....
