Home > How I Quit My Job

Eau de Termination

I work at Wal-Mart. One of the guys here recently got fired but he was trying very hard to be let go. I guess he had the job because he lived with his parents and they wanted him to work. (must be nice) He apparently didn't want to work, so rather than quit and disappoint his parents he just methodically did things to get himself fired. It was amusing to watch and I am really surprised he lasted as long as he did. The straw that broke the camel's back was for about two weeks straight, every time he was scheduled to work he opened bottles of those "designer imposter" perfumes and colognes and basically took a bath in it. We got a kick out of watching him try a new one each time. He wasn't even stealthy about it. He would just leave the boxes open and didn't hold back on the dosage. To top it off, the day he got fired he put on a real drama act of acting like it wasn't fair and stormed out yelling "I can't help it if I SMELL BETTER THAN YOU!". We're still cracking up over it. I think they are charging him with theft. If they don't, they should!
