Team Builders Extraordinary

We once had a boss who set up elaborate team building events. We would get together with folks from other departments and make stuff out of other stuff to meet a preset requirement. These could be much fun but you knew you were being graded by management on how well you played with others. Few turned down the chance to participate as there was also a catered lunch included.
We sorely missed this boss when he moved on.

You had a good boss, I had a boss who took us on to the movies/meeting, we were not allowed to eat, drink or go potty for three hours. Ps this was a mandotary meeting with no pay.

Sounds like fun. I had a boss once who always tried to get folks to go out at lunch and play "catch and throw". He was from another country, and not quite familiar with our games. We appreciated the effort.. ;-)
