Dog-Pile On The Supervisor

I once mentioned vacation policy to a coworker and he told me not to send my vacation sheet to "the big fat dumb football player." Instead, send it to someone else in the office. Maybe he expected me to laugh at the unkind remark, but I had more respect for our supervisor than that. It all may have been a little attempt at rope-a-dope.
