why dont authority figures pay more attention to the folks who really make thw difference in a serious medical condition unless it directly effects a loved one..... WAIT I KNOW ...... MONEY.

Great observation! This has been going on for a long time, it has more recently gotton out of hand and it is done blatantly. See people think that they deserve it. It is called entitlement. I see it every day.

I wish I knew Dharmadee, I wish I knew! The world is getting crowded, soon other resources will be depleted and then the real animals will show their true stripes. This is just the beginning of the end. I don't mean to sound fatalistic but we can not continue to be a throw away society and it will take more than recycling. It may take a pandemic and more than likely it will happen eventually.
