I have the worlds best job which is mechanic's i work for the army but my boss is just an ass i don't mean to cuss but everything i do that im supposed to do they just take it for granted and all they do is sit on their butts all day long and if someone is stuck or they need some help they wont even lift a finger to help so when someone like me stops what im doing and helps them real quick i get yelled at and all i hear is you must be stupid or your a bad soldier you will never move up in rank if you keep going the way your going and all i can think of is man i just saved this guys life and all my suppriors can say im stupid any input on what i should do?

Man this is a tough one. I'm not that familiar with the rules of the military. I know they are not like working for a company. You are actually enlisted right? Or do you really just work for them? I had a similar problem where I liked my co-workers, but couldn't stand my boss. I was fortunate enough that he (my boss) ended up leaving the company after he rubbed a few upper-management folks the wrong way. Let's hope the same happens for you!
