Mis-Managed

One thing that I really hate is a person who has delusions of grandeur... and, no grasp on reality. A person of this nature, is one who thinks that he is the smartest person in the world, and completely disrespects the person for whom "he" works, by going so far to make everyone think that he is smarter than the person who has managed to build an empire. Hmmmm... funny, isn't it? This person, of whom I speak, is one of my managers, and, simply put... HE BLOWS! Well, maybe that's how he got the position... who knows! It certainly didn't happen because he's a genius! He lucked into it... now abuses his power... rather than continuing to learn from those around him, each and every day. He's an obstinate jackass, who finds it amusing to belittle those he manages. Bottom-line is... he doesn't have a clue! And, I think that the truth shall be known, soon enough! Our Big Boss is no dum-dum, as he would like for everyone to think.
My blood boils, just thinking about this jerk-off!
The real discouraging part about someone like this, is that he makes soooooo much money, and, spends money on stupid stuff... and, his GM, just backs him up, and, keeps patting him on the back! It wouldn't be so bad, if he just remembered back to when he was doing our job... don't ever forget your humble beginnings... always refer back to your first jobs, first baby steps in the workforce... and, you will always appreciate and respect everyone around you!
This hack-job & his fluff-girl have got to go!
Thank you... I feel better now!

Yeah, I work with a guy like that. He'll cook his goose eventually. I can deal with a strutting peacock, annoying as it is. The Brown-noser/Squealer species is far more dangerous, job-wise. They're willing to sell their soul and self-respect to get what they want, even if it means stepping on and or ratting out co-workers. Generally, they, too, think they know how the clock works and what makes it tick. That species work's here, too. A fierce game of CYA is being played here...

"don't ever forget your humble beginnings" AMEN!!! That's why I will never move up in management (I've been offered positions twice) because I think it's very easy to get lost up there in that corporate management cloud. Plus, my relationship with all my peon friends woud change. Who wants it? Not me!
