Morale here is kinda less than the Team Spirit anyway, like trying to make office staff pick up trash OUTSIDE the building; you know, dumb sh*t to harass/annoy the masses. Well Monday, the day before 4th of July (you know, the day everyone ELSE had off from work), the Sales Mgr. decided he was gonna BBQ some meat out front of the shop for lunch. Well, he mentioned this to us in the office, and some of us voluntarily brought other stuff to eat with it. Apparently, the warehouse staff were NOT invited, and when it trickled back to them about a BBQ, he then marched back to the warehouse and UN-INVITED them! Hey, we all share the lunch room, and you can't have food sitting out in there, but tell them, sorry, you can't have any! We're too small a company to do that! He was mad because he paid for the meat out of his own pocket, and he doesn't like the warehouse guys. We're pretty lucky to get a company-paid lunch once a month for the birthday's of the month, so ppl hear BBQ and think we're all included. Needless to say, ppl were very upset with him, being so selfish and rude. Several of the girls took stuff back to warehouse so they could have some, and LEFT for lunch. This is the same guy who talks about being a good Christian and spouting verse where he feels it necessary. I like the guy and he's a decent mgr., but please! My favourite saying;
"Going to church makes you no more a Christian than going to the garage makes you a car."

That is a great saying! I have to remember that one. Sadly, some of the nastiest people I have met in life have called themselves christians. I think people hide behind religion and use it as a band aid or something. Whatever happened to the golden rule? Do unto others as you'd have done to yourself? Ugh!
