WE'VE BEEN TAKEN OVER...(old news, but what the heck)

The Evil Corporate Empire that I've toiled for was taken over last year...yeah, yeah old news. I've had the distinct feeling that the carpet is slowly being pulled from under our (me and the other associates trapped here in the third level of Hell, known as employment) feet. First, the little get together our illustrious Satan Spawn leader called to inform us that one of our personal days had been eliminated. Next,came the "our way or the highway" meeting. You know the one, "We are all here to benefit each other..blah..blah..blah", what they really mean to say is "We are all here to benefit the Evil Corporate Empire of the Damned and to hell with you." Then comes the sneaky little stuff, like cutbacks on office supplies, technical tools, overtime and the such. They even fired a wonderful gentleman for stealing when the upper eschelon had given him approval to remove broken equipment for his own personal use. They brought this Succubus from upstairs down into shipping and receiving to manage. Of course they didn't tell anyone that the only reason they "relocated" her was because everyone was going to walk if she wasn't let-go. It's also kinda funny that her Hubby, Anal-Retentive Man, is also a manager (nepotism is a wonderful thing, ain't it?!!). I think that I've vented enough on you poor people. Thanks for listening. I'm preparing to dive into a shaker of Dirty Martini's (shaken...not stirred).

How childish! What these folks don't realize is there's a very real chance that THEY are next in line to take the axe. These type of takeovers spare few.
