VP of Sales + Channel Manager

I work at this company that we shall call Borderware for fun.
Guess what? The VP of sales has had a long time relation with the girl he has hired to run the sales reseller community.
Now, what do you get when you mix and match work with your lover who is now your direct report. A huge conflict of interest.
What is foolhardy is that everyone and anybody knows about these two lovers but no one botehrs. Why? Did I say he is the VP? OMG

Unfortunate, but all too common. Please refer to my "Bimbo Manager" story, in "Bosses from Hell" for corroboration.

Better sell my stock now! - Just kidding - Whatever you do, don't get in the way and don't believe his promises or commitments to you or other employees. If lover girl wants what you have been striving for she will get it. My spouse was in a similar, very disappointing situation.

Sooner or later he will get tired of her, and then there will be heck to pay. This is a common situation I have seen which has the inevitable conclusion of a nasty breakup and department shake ups.
