Good Customer Service

I have worked in this industry for quite some time and everyone wants good service. Let me give some guidelines which may help. When we speak to you at least have the courtsey to speak back to us and have direct eye contact and not talk on your cell phone or ignore us. Excuse me, please and thank you will get you alot further than YO. If you have a request, be as specific as possible we can't help you if you don't know what you want. We are not mind readers, If you don't agree with something ask to speak to a manger. Please watch your kids they are your responsibility. We are human beings just like you and we would like to be treated in the same manner that you would. Personally if I had a video camera and taped some customers, they may be shocked to see how they behave. Good Customer Service is out there just try being a good customer and you'll see how far someone will go for you.

Thank you so much for stating what every person in retail has know for years. Once I got out, I positively refuse to go back! My favourite bumper sticker reads "I know there's a Hell; I work in Retail!"

Good post, I like the cell phone addition. I was at a fast food place the other day trying to grab a quick lunch and some idiot was talking on their cell phone while the cashier was trying to take their order!

I think not controlling your kids is the worst offense! Especially at restaurants! Good post! A much needed reminder.
