I had a coworker who liked to drink..A LOT!! Lucky for him, the place we worked was small and very much like working for a family. Anyway, this coworker would go on a tear and have to call in sick periodically. He was pretty good with the excuses, but I laughed when I heard this one. He called in and said he was just tooo ugly to come to work that day. They agreed.
