System Names

A manager in another area asked me to come up some new easily recognized acronyms for two systems being used in the plant that start with the letters "C" and "S". The systems are used for reporting..

Here is what I sent him...

We could call [System one Name] C.R.A.P.

C[rest of system name]
Reports
And
Processes

Then, if people have problems they could call and say “Hey! I can’t see the CRAP from Corporate!”

Or, Hey! Come look at the CRAP on my monitor!

The acronym for [System two Name] could be S.H.I.T

S[rest of system name]
Histrionic
Information
Tool

Then, in a meeting, the boss could pull up the web page and say “Ok, lets look at yesterdays S.H.I.T”. Problem calls would start with: “I’m having problems finding S.H.I.T”.

Or another problem call would be: NO S.H.I.T!

The ultimate would be, I have a lot of C.R.A.P but no one is giving ME any S.H.I.T!

He got a good laugh...
