This was many moons ago after I got out of the Army (infantry) & so had virtually no civilian job skills except at a few fast food joints during summers before I quit college. A new car wash place had opened, so why not make a few bucks?
Most of us were twenty-something, including this one supervisor. The second or third day I was put in the wiping off windshields section under this same supervisor. He gives me a demo, cleaning the windshield in a clockwise motion. I had always done my car in a counter-clockwise fashion, had got used to it, didn't want to change after trying it his way & could not see how it mattered. Of course, once he saw I wouldn't get with the program, he told me to take a hike, with "come back when you feel like working." One of those control freaks.

O.C.D., Guy worked at a carwash for cripes sake. Maybe he's trying to make up for the small "package". wink wink knod knod.
