Thursday night at Hasta la Pasta in Houston Texas, 10 minutes past closing time and a guest comes in. The new hostess asks me in front of the guest if I want the table........like I can say no with them standing there. After she seats them I asked her what time we stop seating, since we close at 9. Then I point out to her that it was rude to ask me if I wanted the table in front of the guest.
I walk to the back and hear the wanna be Bar Manager (a totally gay looking guy) ask the other server on, if he had talked to the hostess about the table and of course he says no. Ten minutes later I take my check out to the Service manager who proceeds to tell me that he was called by (name removed)(a guy who doesnt know his a@@ from a hole in the ground about the restaurant industry but has the title of Director of Operations)and was told that I was to be taken off the schedule at Hasta la Pasta, but I could continue to work at the sister company Lasagna House III. How f@#$ed up is this, fired from one company but you can work for the other company we own.I explained the conversation and told the manager taht he should ask the hostess or watch the video tape, but they wont do that. These sorry son of a b@#$%#@ wont investigate, instead they listen to the wanna be bar manager who was not even there. This company sucks and should not be patronized or considered as an employer.
