I went into a local staffing service called Staffmark, and got hired for a position at the Sears call center. I was hired for the "teleservice" dept., went through 2 weeks of training with a awesome trainer. My 3rd week, on a Weds., I was required to be on the phone for my full shift, and was assigned a team leader-his name was Ramone. On my second full day on the phone Ramone decided to get his new team members together and introduce himself, and give us some info. Once I got on to the actual call floor it was like being thrown in the sea with no life jacket! There was no connection or support from Ramone-and this is the time when I REALLY needed the support and help from anyone I could get it from. I was SO stressed out try to figure out what to do for various call, and deal with all the pissed off Sears customers, who are really getting screwed over by Sears. The team leaders refuse to take calls, even if a customers demands to speak to a supervisor-so you have to try and figure out how to explain that one to them...which they too eventually get the idea that Sears just does not care about them anymore then there employees. The finally straw was when I had a customer who wanted to talk to Ramone to give me a compliment and Ramone acted all bothered when I asked him to take the call-I watched him take it at his station and he was on the phone like 3 seconds! So, I don't even think he talked to the guy, never even said anything about it-gods forbid he mention anything positive to me, so I approached him about it and he was like "yeah I got it", and I was walking away he was like "you need to work on your adherence", I asked him what specifically was the problem, and he said he would give me the details the next day, and of course he never talked to me ALL day. I got sick of all the stress and B.S. and quit.

Welcome fellow Sears employee..I REALLY feel your pain since I still work for these money grubbing, employee abusing, low-life, lying pieces of sh_t. I've never heard so many lies coming from one company. "Yes Mrs. So-n-so, everything we do is guaranteed." Bullpuckey!!! It's guaranteed to put money into Sears pockets and screw the consumer.
