So I ran out quickly at lunch to get myself something "to-go" ... I left at 12:05, but on my way out I was stopped and asked if I had "the report finished" (which wasn't due until 2:30 and I only had about 30 minutes left on it). I was advised the meeting had been changed and they needed it by 1:30. I've been sick and today is the first day that food actually sounded good...so I jumped in my car and drove to Panera about 2 miles down the road and got soup to go. On my way back I glanced at the clock and started to think about the report, watched the road, had a vision of the biyatch that changed due time of the report, glanced at the clock again, saw a green light, drove through, glanced at the clock, looked in rear-view mirror and I see a cop pulling me over. What? Yup...15 miles over. Yikes! So I get back to work, finish the report...I give it to the Biyatch and she says, "Okay, I guess we are meeting at 2:30 afterall, thanks though". In summary the stupid ticket is my fault - I take total blame, but had I not been stressed about getting back to work I probably wouldn't have had my mind on anything other than the road!

I think you should take the ticket, walk calmly up to her and RED-STAPLE IT TO HER FOREHEAD. But that's just my opinion.

You need to tell biyatch, "It'll be ready at 2:30 as originally agreed." and keep on walking. Take your good gd time. Slavery has been over for a long time.

Unfortunately, the tickets all yours to pay. My advise would have been to finish the report, make 4 copies, rivet the original to the b's body, and then go to lunch. The 'b' is always going to be a 'b' and no matter how well you do your job, it ain't gonna matter to her.

I would have told her that I'd finish the report IF I get it in writing that I get to go to lunch afterwords, no matter what time it is, otherwise, lunch comes first.
