I'm writing this on behalf of my husband and he is to professional to do it himself.I am mad as hell. This man was lured away from another company because not only did they know his work personally.(sorry for the missed punctuation and verbs and prepositions, but Iam furious)But with promises of prmotionswithin the next 6 months, this was all done by the same person. The day after we moved in and I do mean the day after. This jerk asked him to take a promotion in another state. My husband had been computing 2 hours each way for 2 months. We packed and moved ourselves. At that point he refused. My husband continued to work 15 hour days to bring his store up to high standards, and he did that!!!!!!!!!!All during this period they reasurred him over and over that he was their man.His numbers were the best in the district(and he did that honestly, which I can't say for the other fella). He was consistantly in the top 10 in the company overall)The District Manager quit.THe next 2 to 3 months my husband was acting district manager he trained men so that they could fire men who were consistantly know as low preformers.all the while they had their profuse thanks and as far as they were conscerned he was the top runner for the position of District manager. He continued running his own store with great success never asking his people to do anything that he didn't do right along with them. How do I end this story. We just found out that they gave it to the guy with the fudged numbers, but here is the piece of the story that I haven't told you.My husband is 53 Junior is in his late 20's early 30's.Tell me?Oh we willgo on but we are getting out of this business(I say we because I held up the home front while he was working so hard,I support and love him-we work as a team)But we will look for a honorable company that can appreciate us and the talent that this man brings to the table. To the louses that did this to him, brother you WIll miss him!!!!

It's a shame that there is NO honesty in the corporate structure. I'm sure they will miss him when the profit gains report comes out. Good Luck.

Same thing happened to my husband! After he built up a guys' business, weeded out the deadbats, druggees and alchoholics, and set up his whole showroom and shop, the clown laid him off, and promoted one of the guys my husband hired, to be manager at half the salary. I told my husband to take his tlents and expertise and go into business for himself. He is now a successful contractor. Don't let them get you down, you can do better!
