So it is 4:27 (network time)...and a 'team meeting' has been scheduled for 4:45 to assign new work tasks to everyone who isn't 110% capacity (no kidding 110 was the number used). They are also doing a demo of an application at 6pm tonight (for anyone who will still be in the office)! What???
Oh and I need not to forget to mention that they have an opening for a Tester position right now...and one of the criteria's I hear them discussing is "yeah she was good, but do you think she'll fit in with our work mode of working long hours and weekends". I keep asking myself if that is legal to hire someone based on whether they look like the 'overtime' type. Why don't they just ask the person...I wish they had asked me and just didn't assume.

Many years ago I had a company I interviewed with that bragged they worked 80-100 hour weeks. They said we (as new hires) could expect the same hours. Funny thing, they could not comprehend why I turned down their job offer (which was the LOWEST salary-wise).
