Um...yeah. And some of those people are using their work e-mail addresses on there! Helloooooo!

Well folks, I think one lady's comment on that site put it really well. She said, "The only way to win is to stop playing". I learned this many years ago at an energy company I worked for. It has made all the differnce.

This quote from that page really hits home: "Suspect flattery. Sincere compliments from a coworker or a boss are nice, but outrageous flattery is often an attempt to draw you into a psychopath's snare. If you feel your ego is being massaged, you may be dealing with a psychopath. Be careful." It finally clicks! There's a woman at work who is out to get all she can. She's not nice to people and I Could never figure out why she's nice to ME. She's constantly paying me compliments about everything...stupid things even that no one would even care about...like pennmanship the other day! So now it all makes sense. I just have to figure out what she wants (I am not higher up than her) and guard it with my life!

so forgot to say thank you for posting this. It would taken me longer for it all to click on my own.
