My very first job (when I was 16) was handing out baseball bats on bat day at a now non existent M.L.B. stadium. The boss was lecturing us on who to give bats to....."If I find out that any of you gave a bat to anyone over 14,..your FIRED"
As he was saying this, a young, gum snapping, peroxide blonde came strolling up. The boss looked at her and said,
"How many kids you have honey?....."Uhmm...Five?" she said.
He then turned to me and said.."Give her five bats kid"
