A meeting was called yesterday and the group was told that we are no longer allowed to converse with each other unless it is strictly business. "If we want to talk as friends we should do it on our lunch hour or after work". "No more chit-chat is permitted on the floor during office hours". We don't talk anymore than any other office - and to think the managers don't even know about our rubberband fights! Whatever!

I'm...speechless! But then again, maybe that's exactly what your company wants. Um...does anyone remember the slaves in the diamond mines of Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom? I don't think they were allowed to converse either. Get what I'm saying?

"here's the deal...you watch for the guards..signal me when they turn the corner..I'll take them out and then we make for the wardens office and hold him hostage 'til our demands are met, o.k. Bugsy?"

That's so stupid! That's like taking two people aside, and telling them they aren't allowed to be friends anymore! Jeez... Whoever invented that policy doesn't have alot of friends.....
