Just because you are going on vacation

Did you ever have one of those bosses, that when they leave for vacation they need to make sure the work is piled on. Almost as if they will feel like their work is getting done while they are out... or maybe they just don't want us screwing off. Jerk - I'm totally loaded with work now, all because he's off to the east coast.

my boss will roll out a "bug fix" or new functionality to our application the night before he goes on vacation and is conveniently ABSENT the next day when the rest of us scramble to fix his broken sh*t. Happens EVERY time.

Just because someone in charge has loaded you up with work doesn't mean you have to finish it all. Jeez!

VG- Actually he wants it all done before he returns (and I'm to send status reports to his personal email). So now I have my work, and his work to do for the next 3 days!

What a biotch. Doesn't he know that you have better things to do than HIS work? Like post on this fine website. (evil grin)

Vanilla Ginger..Rock On! My thoughts exactley. Next time your boss does this...you and your co-workers should catch the blue-flue.

HAHA! Yeah, calling in sick a few times while your boss is on vacation is almost expected, right?
