Chew Toys for the Boss

Well, after a fun-filled day of psychological torture, in one way, shape or form, I find myself at home reflecting on my day, my boss, my coworkers and the company. What does this all mean?

I've come to this conclusion: No matter who you are or where you work, whatever your position is in whatever company you're with -- we all amount to one thing.

In the end, we're nothing more than chew toys for the boss. Our bosses bark at us, stalk and pounce at us, make us twitch, smack us around with their claws, sink their teeth into us, shake us side-to-side as we dangle, then bury us or just plain stomp on us for the pure pleasure of watching us squeek.

Here, Fido, here, doogie, catch -- good boy...

>just plain stomp on us for the pure pleasure of watching us squeek< Oh boy does that sound familiar!

Good chuckle. Kinda sad, but then destructive bosses are so...pathetic. Who knows? Maybe as we write some of them are being forced to wear felt reindeer headgear or light-up noses. I imagined mine with bells around the neck and a bow stuck on the head. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice analogy. My comment to the boss, "Hey boss, chew on THIS!"
