So here we are, no PTO

Suffering in the office, the quiet miserable days with almost nothing to do and nobody to converse with, as everyone else who has PTO are snug at home eating leftovers and watching daytime television...maybe even taking decorations down... I'm 1 month new here, so I have no PTO... so here I sit with about 3 other people in an office of 50. Then to make matters worse, I looked at the calendar and do you realize the we don't have another company holiday for 5 months!!!!

Thank god for jobschmob otherwise I would be trying to do real work right now (even though there isn't any to do).

Yeah, can relate. I'm always in the dog-house for one thing or another. So here I am (or there I was) doing double and triple duty after a holiday, while the pets are having a great time off.

It always suck to start around the holidays!

Never, ever look at the calendar. It's like looking at the clock in high school, waiting for class to be over. It never goes fast enough.

Think of it this way, you are paid to breathe and the boss isn't there! When I do get PTO, I always never combine it with a holiday coming up because the last day before the holiday, they ususaly let you go a couple hours early.

Yeah, it's tough being new at any company but remember, that status won't last. Time will fix things.

So I kept telling myself but it never did.

I can surely relate. However, I'm not quite in the same boat as you. I could say...Cheer up...you're working. I won't say that. I'm here..nearly everyone else is at home. I have a few days, but Im saving them. For what I dunno... So hang out here with your friends at jobschmob and we'll mock the ones who are at home. Have a great week.
