NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - Consumer prices took their biggest tumble in 56 years in November, led by a plunge in gasoline prices, the government said Thursday, but analysts and investors believe that the threat of higher inflation has not passed.
Guy's I'm having trouble understanding this. Bread isn't .29 a loaf like it was back in the Truman days, and as far as gas goes, I'm still paying well over $2.00 a gallon. And as far as inflation, they just scare us with that so when prices go up a little we are thankful they didn't go way up.

I agree. The Government has been corrupt since my parents were little, although it's getting worse. I love when they say inflation is virtually non-existent. Yeah right. When the average price of a house here in CA is $600,000 and that just gets you an ok house with about 10 square feet of backyard and you can hear your neighbor flush their toilets. Of course the price of gasoline is completely unacceptable and don't forget health care. How much pressure are they going to put on the backs of the middle class? Just so frustrating! And now thousands of illegal immigrants coming into our state demanding health care and food stamps, but causing all the problems. I think we've gone to the dogs. I long for the days of the 50's and 60's when life was simple and cheap. I was born 10 years too late.
