I had a job washing dishes at Ram's Horn when I was 13. Weekend shift from 6am to 1pm. Man I never washed so many dishes in my life. There were times when the busboys would have the bus tubs stacked halfway to the ceiling while I busted my butt trying to keep up. The chefs would constantly be calling "Platters, we need more platters!" (plates). The plates would come out of the dishwasher at about 300 degrees... I'd constantly be burning the crap out of my hands while trying to deliver these plates to the chefs... I think I was making around $2.50/hr. That job did not last very long...;-)
