Get me thru this Day!

Well folks, Someone out there has to come up with a few ideas to keep me busy. You see, I'm into Week #3 of nothing in the world to do. I'm about ready to jump out a window. However, they lock all the windows here, I'm on the 30th floor. I am spending way too much time on this site. My boss knows I have nothing to do, nada, zip. I'm going to begin working in a new department mid-month. Until then, I must sit here and try not to go nuts!

The thing is, recently they initiated a "productivity directive". We are constantly being monitored by the system in our PC's. This is not a good time for me to have no work. The boss assures me I am appreciated and respected. He wants me to remain here. The rest of the unit is being shipped down south somewhere in a year or so. I am getting sleeeepy.
To be honest, I'm boring myself to death. It's time for a nap!
Thanks... and please keep posting!

It's a shame that you can't work from home until you start the new department.
