I'm sick of it. They are monitoring me at work. They somehow send Emails or make a beeping sound when they think that I have done something wrong on my computer. Sometimes, all I have to do is move my arm with the mouse, and there goes the beeping sound. I don't know if they're insane or trying to drive me insane or what. The whole place is nuts! The only problem is: I'm good at my job, and they don't have the foggiest clue of all the finite details of my job. Yet they'll claim something is wrong, when it is not. There was a new guy sitting with them today, and they let him believe that I was bad at my job. If I'm so bad at my job, how come I've been complimented on my accuracy? The people that are monitoring me really don't have a clue, and what's worse, they're telling the boss the wrong things -- and of course, he never talks to me directly. He'll look closely at my work, scrutinize me and believe what these morons tell him. I heard one witch today say -- and she left early, by the way, the wimp --"Let's try to get her fired." This company has been nothing but grief. I'm not being paid enough for this harrassment. I know everybody at JobSchmob is going to tell me to get a new job, like, they have been. I don't want to quit and walk away, but this place is horrid. If something good does turn up, I'm going to have to jump on it. I really don't want to leave this place -- but the scum of the earth that have influence around there are making life seriously unbearable.

It's because for your stress level, health and sanity, you deserve better! Don't you agree?

Yes it's easy to tell you to find a new job. Try this approach--walk into your bosses office and ask if you might speak with him about some concerns you have. Of course make sure you have rehearsed what you are going to say. Without accusing or being overly defensive, simply ask him if he is satisfied with your work performance. If he states why of course then you have opened the door to communication with your boss and you can express your desires and fears. chances are he really has no idea about what is going on around him. Another idea-you have so put yourself out there by becoming the target. why not schmooze up to one of these rats!!! keep your friends close and your enemies closer!! Good luck-Dust off your resume sounds like you maybe needing it before long if you aren't able to stop the insanity!!

WTP: Again, I think you really need help. Do you realize that you can get a Doctor to give you a MEDICAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE for 1-2 weeks and the reason for the medical leave BY LAW does not need to be divulged? Also, if you are under a Doctors medical care for stress you cannot be fired without just cause? I would seriously consider seeing a Doctor ASAP for depression and request a medical leave of absence. I know the above because I went into a very scary and deep depression earlier this year, in my case we found (after a month) it was a very bad side-effect of an anti-inflammatory drug for my back.

First people hiding behind trash cans, and now somehow they rigged your computer to beep when you do something wrong? First things first, you do know that computers will beep occassionally as an alert to the user, right? Secondly, come on...do ya really think someone has rigged your computer to beep, like you are connected to some sort of a dog collar that shocks you whenever you get out of line? Walk The Plank, I suggest you get off the Plank before you fall!

No, it's actually someone else's computer who is doing all of the beeping. This person's desk faces mine, but I have my back to him. He's friends with the admin assistant and has a huge chip on his shoulder. Anyway, I do know this for a fact. They play the mirror game there. That is, mirrors on their computers so that they can see behind them and around them. One of my more talkative coworkers told me so. I do know that they are doing this to me on purpose. I had a friend who worked at this company, and they did the same kinds of things to her. They love to try to undermine self-confidence and shake and rattle a person if they can. I've been so strong so far. I think I'm working with a group of jealous, self-serving criminals, actually.

There is work complaint called,"creating a hostile work environment". I don't know about where you work, but where I work comments about trying to get people fired and ganging up on a coworker are charges an employer CANNOT ignore. Your boss is responsible to stop this if you can really prove it. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to wait until you have had enough and plan to leave. I'd get some mirrors of my own and maybe (just for fun)start putting those little chrystal amulets and garlic out on my desk. I had a coworker that used holy water...no one could say much because it didn't hurt a thing but got the point across.
