Who's weaker, the person who does stuff behind another's back, or the person that ignores it? It's seems to me that we have a test of wills here. I'm going to tell you that you're the weaker one, fool. If you're so strong, confront me already -- but of course, you won't. That takes a spine, and I keep hoping that you'll growup and get one.
I guess the only way you and your clique of coworkers have been able to hang onto your positions is by being the group of cowards that you truly are and doing things to others when their backs are turned. You're so jealous that the only things you can do is to try to make others look like fools -- don't you realize that you're only showing your own true colors? You're all so pathetic!!!
Oh, and by the way, you're not going to see me getting upset at you in public. You're not that important to me in the long run, and I refuse to be a cheap sort of entertainment for you. If I explode and go off and lose my job, are you going to pay my bills? No, I don't think so. So for what it's worth, I'll keep remaining strong and fighting, and maybe, one day you'll get up the nerve to look me in the eyes when you're sticking the knife in. For now, though, it looks like I'll have to take it in the back, because you're too weak to have it any other way.

In reading some of your other posts, for the life of me I don't understand why the heck you don't quit and get a job at a place that makes you happy?

Find another job. Just looking will make you feel GREAT! Cliques like this are made of the weak, and are used to keep down the strong and capable (as in, most eligible for more money and power) by those in real control. I was in the same situation-fought hard to stay, and finally came to my senses and left. The result- the clique that I left behind was fired one by one. The reason? "Our best left because of you..." The real evil runs your deal-let them destroy each other!

First time commenting...but I felt compelled. I don't think you should walk the planks, you should run them and do a big ole swan dive off of them into the job market waters. They might be a little chilly right now, but I am sure you can swim! Just don't get sucked under by the sinking ship!

been there too! snide high-school action, huh? the person who did this to me ultimately got laid off after she started back-stabbing the boss, but it took way too long. suggest you set a trap for you little clique but don't get caught - it can be fun!

I soooo know your situation, because I have been there myself. There is nothing worse than having office bullies. The one thing to remember is that an office bully must have a pretty pathetic life if work encompasses them THAT much. What’s worse is to see the pathetic weak losers who follow them. “Bully, can I get you some water?”, “Bully, how do you feel today”, “Bully, can I kiss your butt just a little more to stay on your good side”. “Bully do you want to get together this weekend, and you can bring your spineless husband too”. What is hilarious, is that nobody can stand Bully (outside of the Bully cult), and I love to hear people complain about her. My Bully, a brut female, thinks she is the ‘end-all, be-all’ and people actually refuse to work with her.
