Callin in sick

Well, it was another day that I didn't want to go to work so I decided to call in sick. I do what you normally do before a call like this - jam toilet paper up your nose, drink a cup of boiling water as fast as you can and call first thing when you wake up. Then it dawned on me. You know, when you are in the bathroom and you get that unmistakable echo? The echo that no matter who is on the other end they know you are in the bathroom? Why not use it to your advantage? So I tried it. Got up, sat in position and dialed the phone. Called my coworkers to let them know I wasn't coming in because of "food I ate last night". I left a couple of other people messages too. The next day over lunch the guys were laughing because they could tell I was really sick because I sounded like I was in the bathroom. I had to play it off like "How did they know that?" So I hammed it up and sure enough everyone believed that I was really sick.
That is the way you take a free day off!
