Well, almost quit...but not quite there yet...updated

I chickened out, and didn't quit at the three month mark, which would've been around the end of September. I'm kind of glad I didn't either. Not that anything has changed at my current job, if anything, things have gotten worse. However, this past Wednesday, my recruiter got me an interview for, doing what I want to do Thursday night at 5. It went great, and by Friday morning at 10, I had a firm offer, and best of all, it was for more money than I was asking for. I should be getting my official offer letter Monday morning, and will probably be handing in my resignation then too. Though I try not to, even after all the crap I've had to put up with at this place, I still feel bad about resigning. Even after being assigned an endless array of tasks without being given the resources to complete them. Even after hearing my manager make snide comments about assignments not being handed in early. My assignments are always handed in by deadline, but apparently I should be knocking myself out to hand them in early. I guess these are the things I should keep in mind when giving in my resignation tomorrow, they won't enflame me enough that I'll say something innappropriate, but they should take away the guilt I have about making a choice to improve my life. Thanks to everyone here who's input helped me realize that though my frustration at work made me feel alone, I wasn't alone, and that there were plenty of other folks out there feeling the exact same way. Thanks again!

I know it doesn't sound like much fun, but I always try to leave a job on good terms and with my head held high. Keep the bridge open. Never know when you might need a reference. Congrats on your new job.... And good luck!
