Where Lunches Go To Rot

Posted on 10/22/2006 by Plastic Whipped

You can always tell who has the most money to throw around by how often they go off site to get lunch. They bring hot lunches from local shops back into work and never finish them. Just throw the leftovers into the fridge and go out again tomorrow to get more. Soon, food is piling up and taking on a inedible quality. Add to the mix a number of reclosable soft drink bottles with one gulp left in them. Then there were those who bring in a big salad bowl to nibble from and cases of bottled water--enough to sip throughout the month. It gets so crowded in the lunch room fridge that a truly edible lunch cannot fit without crushing.
One dare not challenge the Space Hog posse lest ye find one's self getting a dose of paybacks that could lead to disciplinary action.
