I work at Comcast and they are making us take some training class for their new phone services. It is boring and the training is poorly done. Here is an example: the moron trainer hammers home a point about how to do the install on the computer a certain way to create a new phone account. We are talking about 10 minutes straight of focusing on this point, but then she says you can forget that for now because that system doesn't work yet. ARGH! WHY THEN DID WE SPEND 10 PAINFULLY BORING MINUTES ON THIS ####?! We then spent 20 minutes on how to type people's names and addresses. YES, I KNOW THAT A FIRST AND LAST NAME NEEDS TO BE CAPITALIZED!! Comcast is run by ####### idiots.

I have Comcast and I have to say theire customer service reps aren't the brighest bulbs in the box. While I have had some pretty helpful ones, most aren't. One guy sound like I was interrupting his bong hits or something. He sounded completely high and whenever I asked a question, he never responded and I has to say "hello?" and then he replied all annoyed that he was "looking". Well how am I suposed to know that if you don't say "one moment while I check?". It was painful to tak to him and he didn't fix my problem and I had to cal and be put on hold again. Recently I had to call and after I pressed the key for "existing customer" the message kept saying that they were too busy and that I shoud call back later. I tried this several times over an hour period. Finaly I got smart and pressed the key for new customer. Guess what? I was connected to someone instantly. Love how that works. Ugh.

You know, my husband and I just recently moved into a new apartment, and we just got our cable re-hooked up this week. WHY did the cable guy HIT ON ME in front of my HUSBAND??? There is something wrong with the HR dept. of that place, if they're hiring a bunch of dumb kids that think with the wrong 'brains'.... If they're hiring THESE jokers, you'd better believe your training is gonna suck too! And to think I was contemplating going there to find a different job! No thanks....
