My boss is so stupid. At the electronic age, she claims she cannot check her company e-mail off site. I nearly fell out of my chair when she was telling this to a co-worker 130 miles away. A few weeks later, I'm three hundred plus miles away in a facility not associated with the office, but yet I can communicate to my boss via e-mail. Stupid stupid stupid. She will set appointments, not tell me, run around town, and expect me to know exactly where she is at at all times. At least once if not twice a week, she will call in saying she's in a meeting and won't have access to her cell phone. Apparently, the idiot does not realize that her HOME telephone number is on the automated voice mail date/time check... Stupid stupid stupid... I could go on and on about this chick but I'll end it here.

Sounds like your boss is operating under "special" dispensations. She would not happen to have any personal connections would she?

I agree with Dee...her "not being available" is probably a clever way of saying "I'm in bed with the boss". Our sleazoid secretary would get a phone call, abruptly grab her coat, and announce that she had a lunch offer and would be back sometime. Three hours later, she would arrive back with her hair mussed up and sometimes a change a clothes. "Had a run in my nylons" she quipped one day. A friend of mine lived across from the owner of the station and used to see her pull into the parking garage of the owners' place and walk in, sometimes two or three times a week. Your "stupid boss" is far from stupid-she's providing sexual services for pay and position from her boss, while subtly letting you know what's she's really doing. When the "rumors" get back to her john, she claim that others are the troublemakers and offer to get rid of them. WATCH OUT!

Pulling stunts like that would get you fired at my work. They watch people like a hawk, especially when they are not in the office. Big brother is always watching!
