A while back I had come into work early and was in the front office when an email came through from the HR Manager….listing EVERYONE’s salary information!!!!!
About 30 seconds later, the HR manager came busting out of his office and ran over to my desk and he asked me could he help me retrieve and delete all traces of an email he had accidently sent out.
I replied “You mean the salary info?” He turned pasty white and said “yes.” In a small voice, apparently he had typed to fast and had sent the email on the GLOBAL listing which had EVERYONE’s email address on it.
I first went into his office to see if I could recall the email with outlook, when I went into his office, the office smelled very badly.l…much like a mens room.
The only thing I could guess was that when he sent the email, he first yelled the word…then he did it!

OMG, how awful! Did the boss get in trouble?

Of course he didn't get in trouble! He was the HR manager. This person tried to have a co-worker of mine fired in an outside email -> inside email harrasement incident that, after investigation, turned out to have been committed by one of HIS employees (who admitted it). The result? His employee got off scott-free, my co-worker was suspended for three days due to an "attitude problem".
