Like most people, I watched The Superbowl yesterday. And like many people, I looked forward to the commercials. I laughed my ass off at the CareerBuilder.com ad spots. Awesomely accurate, guys.

Each commercial covered different aspects of working in the corporate world, though instead of an office, the employees fought for their lives in the jungle. One of the ads featured employees fighting for a promotion in the 'promotion pit'. The employees are decked out in corporate attire but suited up in armor made from office supplies. One guy has a binder on his head while using a chair pad for a shield and others have heads wrapped in bubble wrap and suits made of miscellaneous office paraphernalia. A post-it note 'centurion' blows a horn and the fighting ensues gladiator style while Caesar---a typical white haired male CEO---looks down on the office gladiators from a higher balcony section. The corporate gladiators battle it out with everyone including the office delivery guy.

Well done!

But out of all three of the spots I saw last night, this one's my favorite because it's the most accurate. Enjoy!
