The Director Marie Hxxxxxt is a vietnamese refugee who can't speak, read or write english! She is a GS 15 and earns over $120,000 a year. The Houston Asylum Office is run like a vietnamese prison camp. She treats the employees like slaves. Since she can't speak, read or write english, she has Richard R and Rebecca R write all of her correspondence, email, and do all of her public speaking. YOUR taxdollars pay for lawsuits, EEOC claims, Union complaints, etc against her. Instead of firing her, the bozos in Washington DC, at USCIS Asylum Headquarters COVER UP FOR HER AND PAY OFF LAWSUITS WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS!!!! The Department of Homeland Security has allowed this for over nine years. Marie H discriminates against women and blacks. She loves to torment black employees. She only promotes white men and this is condoned by the hypocritical Director of Asylum in Washington, DC, Joe Lxxxxxxx, and his Deputy Joanna Rxxxxx. If you thought FEMA was mismanaged, you haven't seen anything until you take a look at the USCIS Houston Asylum Office near intercontinental airport. Marie Hxxxxxx won't allow her employees to have flex time, but she strolls in whenever she feels like it and leaves when she feels like it. Her administrative officer, Rebecca Rxxx covers up for her so Marie never has to be charged annual or sick leave. Marie has not education, she lied about going to college. She supervises educated professionals with advanced degrees and law degrees. No one can communicate with her since she barks out orders in a horrible vietnamese accent. The government protects her in the name of "diversity" and "affirmative action". Think of all the educated, deserving american professionals who should hold this job. The DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY IS A JOKE AND A DISGRACE. Here is another example of an incompetent, uneducated, unprofessional, inexperienced person getting a job that they unsuited and un qualified for. Texas U.S. Senators and Congressmen and women have been told of this problem and they ignore it.

Having worked in government, I know from first hand experience you could bet money on who would receive a job (especially promotions) before the announcement even closed. The phrase I always heard was "It's who you know and who you _______".
Government is in a class all its own. Entities have the power to make the illegal possible, and words like "ethics", "integrity", and "onesty" are a foreign concept. It's frustrating to witness the mis-use / abuse of tax-payer dollars, but the minute you blow the whistle you are out on your ear and blacklisted.

Some questions: You state this is an assylum office. Who are the assylums? Are there a large number of individuals entering thru Houston from SE Asian countries that would make her linguistic skills valuable to those the office serves? Is she a career employee and has been able to make her way up the ranks, in part due to affirmative action (female, minority, etc...)? You make reference to the number of lawsuits and EEOC complaints filed and settlements paid - and although I loathe the idea - would it be of benefit to you for your sanity and physical health to do likewise and start over elsewhere (or open a small business)?
