Bimbo Manager and her LOUD intimidation tactics

I thought I would just share this, as I figured that you guys would understand. My Bimbo Manager (please refer to previous postings) has a habit of coming into the regular work area, and making loud, annoying noises. I don't know if I can adequately explain this with words...but she slams and bangs as much as she can, staightening papers, slamming files, crunching papers to throw away, etc. I think it is a form of intimidation. To test this theory, I began to "mirror" her behavior, whenever she started to act that way around my desk. It is pretty funny. As she "slam-bangs" around, I proceed to do the same thing, pretending to straighten up my desk, very loudly. After a minute, she gives up and leaves. God, what an idiot.

I have a coworker like that. Whenever she is mad at something, she slams around. She was doing that the other day, after someone called to crtisize her for something. She very rudely brushed passed me saying, "Excuse me in a rude and loud voice." I called her on it, telling her to be more civil. We'll see if she does it again.

That is too funny that you do that!! I am happy to see you entertaining yourself at her expense!! hilarious!

Too funny!!! It is like sitcom. I wonder if it will escalate. Just remind yourself that by reacting to her, you just add fuel to her fire. Stop reacting to her and she will smother herself out. Remember nothing lasts forever, this to shall pass. Keep us updated!!!

That's funny, Dharmadee! It sounds like you're shutting down some of her obnoxious behavior! Good for you! It sounds like she actually might be getting a bit more insecure. It's amazing what insecure people will do just to feel like they're higher up on the food chain...

Time to get a tape recorder and keep it hidden at your desk. Then ask (using her name) what's she's doing. I guarantee she'll slam an object extra hard. Keep in mind that slamming an inanimate object is a passive aggressive way of saying she wants to hit you. This deserves the attention of the law.

This is a sign of someone on drugs or alcohol or both. Just about any chore is hard for them and they stay mad constantly for even having to work for the money they are paid to begin with. Solution is simple.....Ask her what she is doing some weekend then pretend you get into everything she does including what ever drugs or alcohol she pulls out...well for hard drugs I just say no thanks its OK I just have allergies that will get me way too wasted....Then take lots of pictures at what ever party most all of her getting wasted. Later tell her if she might have your camera because it is missing now after the party. Oh well if you don't have it I guess I just lost it at the party some where. Then secretly with a new profile name email the pictures to her boss. Heyyyyyy instant promotion and no more mad cow druggy alcoholics working with you after that LOL

Wow, you guys must be psychic...one of my co-workers asked her what she did last weekend, and yes, according to her, she got blitzed. Funnier still, there was a champagne luncheon at work to "celebrate" the new administrator...she got blitzed on their cheap champagne. Forget about toasting the admin, then getting back to work, she sat in her office and sucked down a whole bottle. Bad news...she is still here. I can't figure out, I can only imagine that there must be something else going on...I did not call her the "Bimbo Manager" for nothing. I am not even going to try to compete against that.

You know, your bimbo manager reminds me an awful lot of one of my husband's managers. She's obnoxious, and worst of all, her moods are always different from day to day, so you never know if today she'll shake your hand or spit on your shoe. She's a total basket case (nobody can stand her either--she spreads stress and anxiety everywhere she goes), and, yes, you guessed it, she gets blizted all the time. What's worse, this lady is a mother of FIVE---Yet, somehow, college-style partying never dies for this wrinkled old former bombshell. She still thinks it's great to dance on a table at a compay party and get really drunk and drool all over the district managers...

So, there are more out there...I am just assuming that they still have jobs because they are getting paid off for past(or present?)favors. Sickening.
